E-Invoicing
Government-mandated digital submission of invoices, often referred to as "e-invoicing," is becoming more common in many countries. Governments are implementing these systems to improve tax compliance, reduce fraud, and streamline the tax collection process. These systems require businesses to submit their invoices through a government-approved electronic platform or system, ensuring real-time tracking of sales and tax liabilities.
Within the European Union (EU), e-invoicing formats vary across member states, but they are all based on the overarching European e-invoicing standard EN16931.
InvoiceV2 module
Since the end of 2023 we have been doing groundwork for an improved invoicing workflow. We're actively developing a new invoicing feature in SystemOne, which is going to provide a better structured way for sending invoices. This will allow for new possibilities, like automatic reminders and most important, it will allow us to implement e-invoicing.
This project is 70-80% done and we expect to launch this latests begin of December '24.
E-Invoicing
At the moment we are focussing on implemening e-invoicing for Belgium and Germany, as we get the most customer questions from these countries.
We're at the end of the research & design phase for finding the best solution, which will be to implement PEPPOL using the 4-corner model. We are in talks with different PEPPOL access partners, which is giving promising results.
Our development team has dedicated November & December '24 to work on this.
