VAT Number check

EU VAT Numbers can be stored with a company record in System One, where you can see if the number is valid. 

The first check
When you store a new VAT number, the number is validated. Sometimes this process can take a few minutes.

Periodical check
Approximately every 2 months, every valid EU VAT Number is checked automatically again.

Failing VAT numbers
Failing VAT numbers can be found in an overview in companies > VAT numbers.

VIES Validation
Our server connects to an API that is part of the VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) of the European Commission. Please read their documentation for more info.
