Reset numbering per year

This is one of the options during setup of a bookkeeping.

  • Reset per year: Numbering of documents starts at 1 at the begin of every new (financial) year.
  • Don't reset per year Numbering of documents will continuously increase.
Tax regulations in many countries require the numbering to reset per year. Unless you are certain, we advise you to have reset per year on.

Can I change the setting?

Once you start to issue documents (like invoices and contracts), you are no longer be able to change this setting.

Can you change the setting?

Yes, it is possible, but would incur some costs. Once you created documents with numbers, our developers have to renumber your documents. Inquire to discuss possibilities.
